Ningxia University (NXU, 宁夏大学) is a national "Project 211" and "Double First-Class" comprehensive university co-constructed by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Founded in 1958, NXU merged with Ningxia Agricultural College and Ningxia Normal College, serving as the cultural, scientific, and ecological innovation center of the Ningxia Yellow River Irrigation Basin.
Spanning over 2,900 mu across Helan Mountain and Wenshu campuses in Yinchuan, NXU’s Chemical Engineering & Technology holds national Double First-Class status. 6 disciplines rank in the global top 1% of ESI (Chemistry, Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, Plant & Animal Science, Environmental Science, Materials Science).
