Guangxi Minzu University (GXUN, 广西民族大学) was established in 1952 as the Guangxi Branch of Central Nationalities College (now Minzu University of China). Co-constructed by the National Ethnic Affairs Commission and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, GXUN is situated in the sub-tropical park city of Nanning, celebrated as China’s primary cultural gateway to ASEAN.
Spanning 3,600 mu across Xiangsi Lake, Siyuan Lake, and Wuming campuses, GXUN offers instruction in all official languages of the 10 ASEAN countries. Its Non-Common Foreign Languages base is the largest in China, while Ethnology and Chinese Language & Literature hold prominent national ratings.
