Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU, 北京语言大学) is an elite institution directly under the Ministry of Education, established in 1962 under the personal direction of Premier Zhou Enlai. Renowned globally as the "Mini-United Nations," BLCU is the only university of its kind in China dedicated primarily to providing Chinese language, culture, and sinological education to international students.
