Xiamen University 2026/2027 Chinese Government Scholarship (University Program) Application Guide Released

The Admissions Office of Xiamen University (XMU) has officially released the Application Guide for the 2026/2027 Chinese Government Scholarship – High-Level Postgraduate Program (University Program). As one of China's premier Project 985 institutions, Xiamen University directly nominates international postgraduate talents for CSC funding.

1. Scholarship Coverage & Quotas

• Tuition: Full tuition exemption for standard degree duration.
• Accommodation: Free twin-room on-campus dormitory accommodation or monthly accommodation subsidy.
• Stipend: Standard monthly allowance of 3,000 RMB/month for Master's candidates and 3,500 RMB/month for Doctoral candidates.
• Insurance: Comprehensive medical insurance for foreign students studying in China.

2. Eligibility & Academic Benchmarks

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health. Master's degree applicants must hold a recognized Bachelor's degree and be under 35 years of age. Doctoral applicants must hold a Master's degree and be under 40 years of age. Academic transcripts must demonstrate superior GPA metrics (minimum 80% or equivalent 3.2/4.0 scale).
