On June 12, the College of International Education at Hefei University of Technology (HFUT) organized a cultural practice tour themed "Tracing Historical Footsteps & Experiencing Regional Heritage" for resident international students.
1. Seven Galleried Eras of Cultural History
At the Anhui Celebrity Hall, students traversed seven expansive galleries chronicling the lives and intellectual contributions of notable figures from the pre-Qin dynasties to contemporary science. Students marveled at the legacy of ancient philosophers, classical poets, and traditional Chinese medicine figures such as Hua Tuo.
2. Hands-on Calligraphy and Tea Craft
Following the museum tour, students engaged in an interactive workshop demonstrating the craftsmanship of traditional Huizhou pine-smoke ink, calligraphy brushes, and tea-making traditions, allowing international students to personally practice classic brush strokes.
